Community Support Program – Day Services

Community Support Services – Day Services assists individuals in finding leisure/recreational activities and/or volunteer placements. A Community Support Worker provides support where necessary; to enhance the person’s smooth transition into community based leisure and volunteer placements.

Other components of the service include:

• Snoezelen/Sensory activities,
• Computer Lab,
• Mobility/Therapy support

Empower Simcoe has 2 day service sites, 40 Fraser Court in Barrie and 4 King Street in Orillia. The sites are open Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm.
