What Is "Taste Makers"?

“Taste Makers” is our exciting new after-school cooking program designed specifically for high school students. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already comfortable in the kitchen, this program offers something for everyone.

Why Join Taste Makers?

1. Hands-On Learning Experience

Cooking is all about getting your hands dirty—literally! In “Taste Makers,” you’ll be fully immersed in the cooking process, from selecting ingredients to plating your culinary creations. You’ll work in small groups, which means plenty of opportunities to collaborate with fellow aspiring chefs and learn from each other. And the best part? You’ll get to enjoy the delicious dishes you create!

2. Master Essential Cooking Skills

Our program is designed to equip you with the foundational skills needed to navigate any kitchen with confidence. You’ll learn how to safely use kitchen tools and appliances, practice essential techniques like chopping, sautéing, and baking, and understand the importance of kitchen safety and hygiene. These skills will not only make you a better cook but also prepare you for a lifetime of healthy eating.

3. Embrace Healthy Eating Habits

At “Taste Makers,” we believe that cooking is not just about making food—it’s about making food that nourishes your body and fuels your life.
