Sibshops are designed just for siblings (ages 8 to 13) of kids and youth with disabilities or developmental needs. This group is specifically for kids who do not have developmental needs themselves. It’s a chance to have fun, make new friends, and talk about what it’s like to have a sibling with a disability or developmental need.

What to Expect:
- Play engaging games and participate in exciting activities
- Meet new friends who understand the challenges and joys of having a sibling with a disability
- Share personal experiences, both the good and the tough, in a supportive environment
- Learn strategies to handle challenging situations with the help of peers and facilitators
- Laugh, talk, and bond with others through fun group interactions
What You Need to Know:
- Participants are expected to actively engage, listen, and follow directions.
- Children should be able to work independently with minimal assistance.
Please note: Registration does not automatically confirm attendance. A facilitator will contact you to discuss your child’s participation in the event. Priority will be given to first-time attendees.
